The fastest easiest way to get it right.

tabIndex

NAME

tabIndex

FUNCTION

The PHP method tabIndex sets the HTML attribute "tabindex" on the object. The first time it is called, this routine sets the index at 1000. Subsequence calls go to 1001,1002 etc.

The first time you call this method it also marks the object as getting focus when the page loads. To force focus to begin on some other object, call tabFocus instead of tabIndex for that object.

INPUTS

int (optional) starting value. If this value is supplied, the object will get this value for its tabIndex, and subsequent calls will increment from there. Defaults to 1000.

EXAMPLE

Here is an example:

     <?php
     $div = html('div');
     $input = $div->h('input');
     $input->tabIndex();
     // more poperty settings...
     $input = $div->h('input'); // reuse var, make another input
     $input->tabIndex();
     ?>
